Questions
What brands ask first.
What must an imported product's label show in India?
The Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules 2011 require declarations such as the importer's name and address, the common name of the product, net quantity, MRP and the consumer-care contact. We check your products against the current rules in the diagnostic.
Do you get product licences such as CDSCO or FSSAI?
We map which licences your category needs and the order to get them in. Registrations tied to the import sit with the importer; with your own Indian company, product licences can sit in its name.
Do marketplace listings need the same details?
Yes. Indian marketplaces ask for declarations on product pages too, so we keep pack and listing in line.
Is this legal advice?
No. We work to the published rules and map what your products need; for a legal opinion on your case, consult your lawyer.
